I’m an Innovation Evangelist and Innovative Programs Administrator, studying organizational anthropology, technology, and innovation. One cannot be accomplished without the others. Today, technology is omnipresent. The internet of things (IoT) changes the way we manage our homes, bodies, and work. The potential for new innovations building on existing innovations is endless and crazy exciting! My goal is to help educators achieve sustainable innovation without compromising achievement. I’m a firm believer that they are not diametrically opposed but one can enhance the other.

I began my career as a software developer (1995) and moved into public education (2002) after my children were old enough to attend school. I’ve been blessed with a variety of experiences and mentors that have taught me to think forward, try new things, and to continue pushing our educational institutions. This blog enables me to pay it forward.

Thank you for reading my blog. If you are interested in contributing, please let me know and I’d be happy to publish your writing if it is consistent with HackED Leadership. I can be reached at christinemccormickliddle@gmail.com.

Some authors that inspire me are Judith E. Glaser, Simon Sinek, Daniel Pink, George Couros, Dan & Chip Heath, Malcolm Gladwell, Tony Wagner, AJ Juliani, Joe Sanfelippo & Tony Sinanis,

I’m a kindness ambassador, studying cultures of collaboration and conditions for transformational change. I believe in the power of connection with others, in the power of story, and in the goodness of people. I aspire to cultivate environments that promote storytelling, the exchange of ideas, and dissonance. Let’s disrupt the status quo and create kinder, forward-thinking communities of action. I’m also intensely curious about how to enhance the customer experience and create magic in our schools. Every. Single. Day.

I began my career in 2004 in the English Language Arts classroom. So, inevitably, my mantra is Words Matter. Some authors who inspire me include: George Couros, Brene Brown, Tony Wagner, and Sheryl Sandberg to name a few.
